3D-Kits.co.uk produces an interesting series of decals and conversions for 1/72 and 1/48 scale aircraft. This set provides markings for three Rotol-propeller-equipped Spitfire Mk.I/II, also released in 1/72 scale.
This set provides markings for three examples:
- Spitfire Mk.I, 54 Sqn, KL-T, March 1940
- Spitfire Mk.II, 19 Sqn, QV-J, June 1941
- Spitfire Mk.II, 71 (Eagle) Sqn, XR-D, Aug 1941 (two options)
The decals are nicely printed by Fantasy Printshop with the only down side being that the roundels are printed as two-layer decals with you getting the opportunity to center the red do
This release will provide you with some interesting options for your next early Spitfire project. You can obtain 3D-Kits.co.uk conversions directly from the 3D-Kits.co.uk website.
My sincere thanks to 3D-Kits.co.uk for this review sample!
