Archer Fine Transfers 1/35
German Instrument Faces

Archer makes some of the best dry transfer decals on the market. These transfers are burnished down onto a model and have no carrier film to contend with. Printing is always very sharp and in register on all the sheets I have ever seen. Archer makes many, many sheets to go on various armor models.

This newest sheet is of German instrument faces. It will really dress up a German soft-skin vehicle or even a open topped armored car or tank. You get 8 sets of 5 different instrument faces on the sheet. These consist of: a tachometer, speedometer, oil pressure gauge, wheel position gauge and a temperature gauge.

The transfer sheet comes in a cello bag with a protective sheet over the adhesive side of the sheet. There is a stiff piece of cardboard behind the transfer sheet and an instruction sheet. The instructions is a single sheet that is folded into fourths. It shows the general layout of German dashboards and where the instruments go is called out in color codes.

The instructions mention that another sheet, sold separately by Archer, is available of placard cards that go on German instrument panels. This is their product no. AR35215.

I am just finishing up a build of Italeri’s 1/35th scale re-issue of the Horch command car and also Tamiya’s 135th scale Steyr Komandeur Car (both in-box reviewed on this site). These instrument transfers will really spruce up these 2 kits.

I highly recommend this new sheet to all German armor modelers.
