Here is the latest release from Albatros Modelworks. This offering covers
some colorful Thud noseart from Southeast Asia.
In this set, four Thuds from the 355 TFW are highlighted:
- F-105D-10-RE, 60-0504, 357 TFS/355 TFW, Memphis Belle II
(double MiG killer now on display at the USAF museum)
- F-105D-25-RE, 62-4229, 357 TFS/355 TFW, Jeanie II
- F-105D-5-RE, 58-1172, 357 TFS/355 TFW, Daisy Mae
- F-105D-5-RE, 62-4364, 354 TFS/355 TFW, Pussy Galore II
Unlike many other decals in this scale, Albatros also includes
the aircraft identification stencil with the appropriate serial
numbers included. In addition to the full color profile in this
set, Albatros also includes a copy of the camouflage pattern from
USAF TO 1-1-4 for the F-105 to aid the modeler with accuracy.
