|Subject||RCAF Silver Maple Leaf Roundels||Scale||1/72|
|Set Number||72C50||Pros||Beautifully printed RCAF roundels|
|Cons||Nothing noted||Skill Level||Basic|
Aviaeology Decals has released a useful set of roundels depicting the silver maple leaf roundel designs that have been in use on Royal Canadian Air Force aircraft since 1948. This set includes 38 roundels in 7 different sizes which means you can replace the marginal kit decals with these nicely printed roundels.
The instructions have an extensive table listing the aircraft in service during the period of 1948 and 1965 when these roundels were in standard use and show the size of the roundels for the fuselage, upper and lower wings.
These roundel sets will be a handy resource for your RCAF projects where you want to get properly registered or properly colored roundels on your model, or perhaps replace the RAF roundels (or whatever) to depict the subject as it appeared in RCAF service.

My sincere thanks to Aviaeology Decals for this review sample!
