CAM Decals has changed owners, and the decal line is not only
intact, it continues to expand. This is one of the 'Pro Series'
which has been developed by the new ownership.
In this release, CAM Decals has produced markings for two early
block F-4E Phantom IIs for the Tamiya kit. While these would probably
fit the Revell F-4E kit, that model represents the later block
F-4Es as reflected by the slatted wings where these aircraft were
'hard-wing' F-4Es as depicted by Tamiya.
The two aircraft presented
in this decal set are:
- F-4E, 70-0306, 34 TFS/388 TFW, JJ, Korat RTAFB, Thailand, 1972
- F-4E, 67-0288, 469 TFS/388 TFW, JV, Korat RTAFB, Thailand,
1970
As you can see in the decal layout, this set provides sufficient
markings for two complete aircraft.
Time to dust off that Tamiya 1/32 F-4E
kit. This set is definitely recommended for the Phantom phan!
