CAM Decals has changed owners, and the decal line is not only
intact, it continues to expand. This is one of the 'Pro Series'
which has been developed by the new ownership.
In this release, CAM Decals has produced markings for two very
distinctive US Navy F/A-18C Hornets from VFA-37 and VFA-81
for the Hasegawa or Monogram kits. The aircraft presented
in this decal set are:
- F/A-18C, 163508, VFA-81 Sunliners, AA/401, USS Saratoga, 1991,
Operation Desert Storm, MiG-killer
- F/A-18C, 164240, VFA-37 Bulls, AC/300, CAG, USS Dwight D. Eisenhower,
1994
As you can see in the decal layout, this set doesn't waste any
space and provides all of the distinctive markings, national markings,
and many of the more visible maintenance stencils and warning markings
for both aircraft.
Time to dust off those Hasegawa and Monogram 1/48 Hornet kits.
This set is definitely recommended.
