F/A-18A/B Hornet
'Blue Angels 2006'

CAM Decals has changed owners, and the decal line is not only intact, it continues to expand. This is one of the 'Pro Series' which has been developed by the new ownership.

In this release, CAM Decals has produced markings for the distinctive Blue Angel F/A-18 Hornets as they appeared for the 2006 show season. These markings will work for the Hasegawa or Monogram kits. The aircraft presented in this decal set are:

• F/A-18A, 161987, Blue Angel 1, 2006
• F/A-18A, 161963, Blue Angel 2, 2006
• F/A-18A, 161960, Blue Angel 3, 2006
• F/A-18A, 161948, Blue Angel 4, 2006
• F/A-18A, 162897, Blue Angel 5, 2006
• F/A-18A, 163106, Blue Angel 6, 2006
• F/A-18B, 161746, Blue Angel 7, 2006

As you can see in the decal layout, this set doesn't waste any space and has sufficient markings to replicate one complete aircraft. This set was done in memorium of the loss of Blue Angel 6 pilot LCDR Kevin Davis on 21 Apr 2007.

Time to dust off those Hasegawa and Monogram 1/48 Hornet kits. This set is definitely recommended for the modeler wanting to capture the look of these beautiful show birds.
