MiG-21 Fishbed Part 2

The folks at Meteor Productions continue to turn out great aftermarket decals with some of the best instructions/color profiles on the market. Markings are provided for three aircraft:

• MiG-21US, Blue 10, USSR
• MiG-21bis, Red 1007, Polish AF
• MiG-21MF, Red 5121, North Vietnamese AF

This sheet also provides one set of stencils, walkways and national markings.

The VNAF MiG reflects eight aircraft kills. This aircraft and the Polish AF MiG are both bare metal machines, whereas the Soviet trainer is camouflaged. The MiG-21US and MiG-21MF schemes will work with the Trumpeter 1/32 releases, the MiG-21MF will also work with the Revell 1/32 kit as well. To date, nobody has released the MiG-21bis in this scale, though we can hope that Trumpeter will eventually come back to this important link in the MiG-21 family chain!
