The folks at Meteor Productions continue to turn out great aftermarket
decals with some of the best instructions/color profiles on the market.
This set covers two of the Hawk 81A-2 (P-40B) aircraft flown by the
American Volunteer Group in China against the Japanese invasion of the
mainland.
Markings are provided for two schemes:
- Hawk 81A-2, P-8173, 77, 3rd PS, AVG, Kunming, 1942, as flown by R.T. Smith
- Hawk 81A-2, P-8192, 94, 3rd PS, AVG, Kunming, 1942, as flown by Tommy Haywood
A national markings and shark mouths are also included for both
aircraft.
