Cutting Edge has released some nice-looking decals for the Bf
109G-10 in with the Type 100 or Type 110 cowls. The Hasegawa Bf-109G-10
kit comes with the symmetrical 'Type 100' cowl, whereas Cutting
Edge has released CEC32139
Bf 109G-10 'Type 110' cowling conversion which 'backdates'
the Hasegawa Bf 109G-14 kit into this less common Bf 109G-10 Type
110 asymmetrical cowling configuration.
This decal set provides markings for three aircraft:
- Bf 109G-10 (Type 110), White 4, KG(J)54, Praha, 1945
- Bf 109G-10 (Type 100), Green 1, Stab/JG77, 1945
- Bf 109G-10 (Type 110), Red 12, 2./JG 300, Borkheide Germany, 1944, 'Gisela'
This set also includes the relevant national markings for each
of the aircraft, nose spinner spirals, and the more complex Reich's
Defense fuselage band for the KG(J)54 aircraft. If you've been
holding off on the Cutting Edge Type 110 conversion because of
the lack of markings, your wait is over!
