Cutting Edge has released their P-36 decal set in 1/32
scale for their recent P-36
Hawk conversion to the Trumpeter 1/32
P-40B kit..
This set is provided on two sheets with markings
for four aircraft:
- P-36A, 94 PS/1 PG, Selfridge Field, 1939
- P-36A, 94 PS/1 PG, Selfridge Field, 1939, 94 PS Sqn Cdr
- P-36A, 20 PG Cdr, Moffet Field, 1939
- P-36C, 27 PS/1 PG wearing distinctive camo for 1939 Cleveland
Air Races
This set also includes the relevant national markings for
one aircraft along with the appropriate propeller markings
and stenciling.
If you opt to build the Cleveland Air Racer, Cutting Edge
has also released a Black Magic mask set (CEMB32086) to help
render the camouflage.
The instructions include nice full-color side and top
profiles to illustrate decal placement and relevant color schemes
as well as scrap underside markings for under-wing marking
placements. Highly recommended!
