The folks at Meteor Productions continue to turn out great aftermarket
decals with some of the best instructions/color profiles on the
market. Markings are provided for one very interesting aircraft:
- A-7E, BuNo 160879, VA-37, AC/300, USS John F Kennedy, Oct 1982,
CAG aircraft
This was the SLUF (Short Little Ugly 'Fella') painted as the Commander
of the Air Group (CAG) aircraft for VA-37 featuring a full-sized
bull logo on the vertical stabilizer, multi-colored mini-bulls
on the rudder, and standard identification markings on the remainder
of the aircraft.
According to the instructions, this aircraft is illustrated in
Colors & Markings #9 on page 17. This title is part of the Detail
& Scale series by Bert Kinzey.
This set provides a colorful alternative to the kit markings in
Trumpeter's beautiful A-7E kit and will definitely look great on
the contest table!.
Highly recommended!
My sincere thanks to Meteor Productions for this review sample!
