The folks at Meteor Productions continue to turn out great aftermarket
decals with some of the best instructions/color profiles on the
market. Markings are provided for one very interesting aircraft:
- A-7E, BuNo 159308, VA-86, AJ/403, USS Nimitz, Dec 1975
This was a line SLUF (Short Little Ugly 'Fella') from VA-86 featuring
a full-sized rattlesnake logo on the vertical stabilizer, orange
diamonds on the rudder, a large orange diamond on the top of the
fuselage, orange stripes on the upper surface of the wing, and
standard identification markings on the remainder of the aircraft.
This set provides a colorful alternative to the kit markings in
Trumpeter's beautiful A-7E kit and will definitely look great on
the contest table!.
Highly recommended!
My sincere thanks to Meteor Productions for this review sample!
