The folks at Cutting Edge Modelworls continue to turn out great
aftermarket decals with some of the best instructions/color profiles
on the market. In this set, we have two distinctive Ju 87s
from the 'Russian Front'.
The two aircraft covered in this set are:
- Ju 87D-1, T6+AN, II./St.G 2, Spring 1942, Russia
- Ju 87D-1, T6+DK, II./St.G 2, March 1942, Russia
Both subjects offer some nice color variations. T6+AN is wearing
the standard RLM 70/71 over 65 scheme, but carries some nice distinctive
unit and personal markings in addition to the yellow ID bands.
T6+DK wears the same color scheme, but has been given a white wash
over the top of the RLM 70/71 colors and the white is not only
weathered, it has worn through to the RLM camouflage on the upper
surfaces. If you enjoy weathering and painting worn out winter
colors, this is just the subject for you.
These decals will provide some nice alternatives to the 1/32 Stuka
series produced by Hasegawa.
Highly recommended!
My sincere thanks to Meteor Productions for this review sample!
