The folks at Cutting Edge Modelworls continue to turn out
great aftermarket decals with some of the best instructions/color
profiles on the market. In this set, we have two distinctive
P-47D bubbletops, one of which is featured at two different
points in time.
The two aircraft covered in this set are:
- P-47D-25-RE, 42-26641, 58 FG/8 AF, LM-S, as flown by Group
DO Lt Col David Schilling, Boxted, 1944
- P-47D-25-RE, 42-26641, 58 FG/8 AF, LM-S, as flown by Group
Commander Col David Schilling, Boxted, 1944
- P-47D-38-RE, 42-28878, 84 FS/78 FG/8 AF, WZ-S, as flown
by Lt Frank Oiler, Duxford, 1944
These two schemes are just what the doctor ordered for
those modelers that like the P-47 and yet are reluctant to
build bare metal color schemes. The decal set consists of three
sheets of decals plus the color profiles and a diagram showing
the proper placement for each of the maintenance stencils.
The printing on these decals are the usual high quality we
take for granted from Cutting Edge.
Highly recommended!
