The folks at Cutting Edge Modelworls continue to turn out
great aftermarket decals with some of the best instructions/color
profiles on the market. In this set, we have two distinctive
F-100D Super Sabres which provide some very nice marking options
for one camouflaged and one bare metal example.
The two aircraft covered in this set are:
- F-100D-56-NH, 55-2942, 'Sizzlin Susie', 352 TFS/35 TFW,
Phan Rang AB, RVN, 1970
- F-100D-91-NA, 56-3285, 481 TFS/27 TFW, Tan Son Nhut AB,
RVN, 1966 as flown by LtCol Harold Comstock
If you've wandered the pages of our F-100
Super Sabre online
reference, you'll see photos of these and many other examples
from the various squadrons that operated the F-100D 'In Harms
Way'.
These markings are very nicely rendered and provide a nice
camouflage alternative as well as a nice bare metal scheme
for your Trumpeter F-100D kit.
Highly recommended!
My sincere thanks to Meteor Productions for this review sample!
