Here are some colorful B-17s just released in the Cutting
Edge line. These represent late 1943/early 1944 aircraft that
still wear camouflage. Note that all three of these B-17Gs are
in green/gray camouflage.
This decal set provides markings for three aircraft:
- B-17G-1-BO, 42-31053, BX-W, 338 BS/96 BG, 'Stingy' early
1944
- B-17F-60- DL, 42-3430, U, 338 BS/96 BG, 'Carolina Boomerang',
Oct 1943
- B-17G-35-BO, 42-1983, IY-G, 615 BS/401 BG, 'Mary Alice',
Jun 1944
This set will certainly provide some interesting options
for your Revell or Monogram kits, especially if you're intimidated
by bare metal subjects.
Definitely recommended!
My sincere thanks to Meteor
Productions for this review sample!
