Cutting Edge Decals 1/72
B-52 Part 5

The folks at Meteor Productions used to turn out some great aftermarket decals with some of the best instructions/color profiles on the market. They've unfortunately ceased operations, but before they closed, they issued some final decals including this set of B-52s.

This set covers an interesting array of Stratofortresses across time wearing some nice nose art. These aircraft included:

• B-52G-85-BW, 57-6492, 379 BW, ODS, 'Old Crow Express'
• B-52H-BW, 61-0022, 319 BW, 1981 GREAT STRIKE, 'Yosemite Sam'
• B-52G-120-BW, 59-2594, 97 BW, START aircraft, 'Memphis Belle III'
• B-52G-100-BW, 58-0210, 93 BW, 'Conceived For Liberty'
• B-52G-110-BW, 58-0235, 28 BW, 1972 RAF Bomb Comp, 'Spirit of Mt. Rushmore'

These markings were released inconjunction with several sets of resin updates to the venerable Monogram 1/72 B-52D to bring that kit up to G- or H-model configuration since the AMT (re-released by Italeri) would be too much of a pain to fix.

Highly recommended (if you can find them!).
