FlightDecs of Canada has crossed the line. Up until recently, they limited themselves to providing the widest selection of unique aircraft decals from around the world and backing up that selection with great service. Now they're producing a line of decals under their own banner - FlightDecs Decals.

In this first set, three Hawker Hurricanes as flown by the Royal Canadian Air Force during World War Two, two of which are also Canadian-built. The basic decal set is designed to work with the Hasegawa 1/48 Hurricane, but as some of you know, some of the Canadian built aircraft flew with no spinners and different propellers. You have the option of purchasing set FLD4802A for $18.50 USD that contains a resin Hamilton Standard prop and Merlin engine face as well as the decals. The three aircraft covered in this set are:

  1. Hurricane Mk.XII(Mk.IIB), #5412, 135 Sqn (RCAF)
  2. Hurricane Mk.IIC, BE643, 213 Sqn RAF (as flown by P/O Houle (RCAF))
  3. Hurricane Mk.XII(Mk.IIB), #5625, 13 Photo Sqn (RCAF)

The instructions include four-views of each aircraft with nice color references and corresponding FS595 colors.

Highly recommended!

My sincere thanks to FlightDecs for this review sample!
