First Look

Fundekals has produced a really nice airframe maintenance stencil set for your favorite 1/32 P-51D/K Mustang kit. What you receive is the decal set in a protective pouch and the instructions can be downloaded from either the HobbyZone USA or fundekals website.

P-51D/K Mustang Stencils

This set is divided into groups, with stencils for the left side of the airframe in one group, another group for the right side, and others for each wing. The manufacturer states that this set compliments the cockpit placard set produced by Barracudacals, and includes stencils for the cockpit not found on the Barracuda set as well as stencils for the landing gear, propeller, and even armament. This set applies to both the P-51D and P-51K, which are essentially the same aircrat with different propellers, and this set includes the Hamilton Standard logos for the P-51D and Aeroprop logos for the P-51K. This decal sheet is printed by Cartograf and everything is sharp and perfect register.

If you're looking for an eye-catching enhancement for your next Mustang project, this is the set you're looking for and you might want to stash a second set away should you be planning multiple P-51D/Ks for your scale flightline.

You can order this set with free shipping here.

My sincere thanks to HobbyZone USA for this review sample!
