CF-18 80 Years RCAF/CAF Special

Leading Edge has released the latest in the series of special CAF Hornet schemes. This one commemorates 80 years of the RCAF/CAF (1924-2004). Unlike some of the special color schemes, this one is rather tame, but this also translates into an easier scheme for the average modeler as well. The shading on the tail is the only painting challenge offered with this set.

The decal sheet comes with a complete set of national markings, maintenance stencils and aircraft identification marks, as well as the special commemorative markings. Even the false canopy under the nose is provided as decals.

This will definitely be an easy color sheme to try. If you've been collecting the Leading Edge special Hornet schemes in the past but have been intimidated up until now, this will be a great start into building special paint scheme aircraft.
