CAF Camo C-130E/H World's Highest Time Hercs

Leading Edge has released an interesting new decal set commemorating two of the Canadian Armed Forces' veteran C-130 Hercules. The title says it all - these two aircraft have evidently accumulated more hours than any other C-130 in the world. What's more, this set will allow you to replicate virtually any other camouflaged CAF Hercules that you'd like.

The two aircraft in question are:

• C-130E, 130315, CAF, early 1990s
• KC-130H, 130342, 435 Sqn, CAF, 1998

This decal set comes on three sheets with very nice printing and lots of options. The two color instruction sheets not only show decal placement, but provide the various serial number blocks for the CAF airlifters and tankers so that you can replicate any one of them with the extra numbers provided in this set. You'll see a nice set of airframe stencils included on the sheet as well as the prop tip stripes used by the CAF, RAF, and others. If you look closer on the right edge of the first sheet, you'll also see decal renditions of the C-130E GTC exhaust and C-130H APU exhaust ducts as decals.

This is a very nice addition to the Leading Edge's array of subjects and will provide some colorful options for the 1/48 scale Testors/Italeri kit.
