Speed Hunter Graphics is back with their latest release, this covering a nice cross-section of USAF F-4C/D Phantom II examples for the 1/32 Tamiya kit.
The four examples presented here include:
- F-4D-31-MC, 66-7765, 906 TFG/AFRES, 1988, Phantom 30th Anniversary Scheme
- F-4C-23-MC, 64-0748, 188 TFG/AR ANG, 1989, MiG Killer
- F-4D-21-MC, 66-7745, 187 TFG/AL ANG, 1988
- F-4D-31-MC, 66-7661, 113 TFG/DC ANG, 1986
Take a close look at the decal sheets. The sheets are printed by Cartograf and the printing is very well done. What's more, none of these decals require the modeler to stack multiple layers of markings atop one another to recreate artwork. This trend by some other decal companies of producing multiple-layer decals is unfortunate as it puts the burden on you to do the work of what should have been done by the decal maker.
This set provides one complete sets of maintenance stencils and markings to replicate at least one kit in 1/32 scale (and if you use some of the stencils from the kits, you can do more!). This set is designed to work with the Tamiya 1/32 F-4C/D kit.
These markings are available directly from the publisher on their website www.reidairpublishing.com.
My sincere thanks to Speed Hunter Graphics for this review sample!
