You've seen it before. Someone builds a stunning aircraft model, but
then slaps some missiles on it as almost an afterthought with no
corresponding attention to detail. The result detracts from the overall
model! The fault isn't neccessarily theirs, most kit manufacturers pay
little or no attention to the weapons. If I've read it once, I've seen
it a million times on the online chat rooms "What color is such and such
missile?" There is precious little information out there for the average
modeler to work with.
TwoBobs to the rescue! In this decal set, they've provided detailed
markings for the AIM-7E-2 and the AIM-7M Sparrows. The AIM-7E-2
and AIM-7M are each given a four-sided view to show the colors and
maintenance stencil locations for each variant. Of course this fine
reference is accompanied by a decal sheet with enough stencils to mark
up eight missiles (four AIM-7E-2 and four AIM-7M).
The printing is perfectly in register. The instructions are printed
double-sided in color, providing excellent color scheme as well
as decal placement information.
There are very few decal sheets that I'd suggest stocking up on, but
if you're modeling more than one 1/32 modern fighter in your future,
you're going to want to get several of these sheets! Highly recommended!
