You've seen it before. Someone builds a stunning aircraft model, but then slaps some missiles on it as almost an afterthought with no corresponding attention to detail. The result detracts from the overall model! The fault isn't neccessarily theirs, most kit manufacturers pay little or no attention to the weapons. If I've read it once, I've seen it a million times on the online chat rooms "What color is such and such missile?" There is precious little information out there for the average modeler to work with.

TwoBobs to the rescue! In this decal set, they've started with the 'heater', the AIM-9 Sidewinder. The AIM-9B/E, AIM-9J/N/P, AIM-9D/G/H, and AIM-9L/M are each given a four-sided view to show the colors and maintenance stencil locations for each variant. The set also covers the AIM-7E and AIM-7M Sparrow missiles with similar four-view diagrams. Of course this fine reference is accompanied by a decal sheet with enough stencils to mark up twenty missiles (four AIM-9L/M, four AIM-9 D/G, four AIM-9B/J, four AIM-7E and four AIM-7M). As a bonus, the set also includes silhouettes for eight chaff/flare launchers to offset that much-overlooked detail on many kits.

The printing is perfectly in register. The instructions are printed double-sided in color, providing excellent color scheme as well as decal placement information.

There are very few decal sheets that I'd suggest stocking up on, but if you're modeling more than one 1/48 modern fighter in your future, you're going to want to get several of these sheets! Highly recommended!
