TwoBobs has taken on another set of colors schemes for the
F-14 Tomcat. This set features two colorful paint schemes worn
to commemorate the retirement of the F-14D from the fleet.
Ironic that the most capable version of the Tomcat is the first
to be phased out.
The first aircraft is BuNo 162926, F-14D of VF-143, the Pukin'
Dogs as it appeared at its retirement in May 2005. The other
aircraft is F-14D BuNo 164602 of VF-213 of the Black Lions.
Both aircraft are wearing slightly fancier colors than the
normal drab fleet schemes.
In addition to the markings used on the aircraft,
this decal set also provides the more visible maintenance and
warning stencils, slime lights, and intake walkways.
The instructions are
printed double-sided in color, providing excellent color scheme
as well as decal placement information.
A word of warning, if you buy this set, you're going to want
two Hasegawa Tomcat kits as you won't be able to settle for
just one of these beautiful color schemes. Definitely recommended.

My sincere thanks to TwoBobs
