Twobobs Aviation Graphics continues to turn out
nicely researched subjects that offer some eye-catching interest.
In this release, decals are provided for a commemorative F-14B
Tomcat from VF-32. This is one of the squadron's special schemes
to bid the F-14 farewell as they transition into their new aircraft.
So what's so special about these colors? Look at the photo in
the color profile - this is a retro paint scheme. This is glossy
gray over glossy white, the same paint scheme that the Tomcat wore
when she first entered service in the US Navy.
This aircraft is F-14B, BuNo 162691, AC/112, marked as an F-14B
upgrade, assigned to the USS Harry Truman as seen in September,
2005.
In addition to the distinctive unit markings, this decal sheet
also includes national markings (two-part), intake walkways, slime
lights, and the more visible emergency and maintenance stencils.
The instructions are printed double-sided in color, providing excellent
color scheme as well as decal placement information.
This set is definitely recommended to the Tomcat lover!
