The title of this release is a little misleading - "First of the
Weasels" but the narrative reflects the true history of the aircraft
and the program - the "EF-4C" was the first of the Phantom Weasels.
The F-100F, EF-105F, and F-105G preceeded the F-4C.
The aircraft covered in this set is :
- F-4C, 63-7423, 67 TFS, Korat RTAFB, Nov 1972, "Jail Bait"
- F-4C, 63-7470, 67 TFS, Korat RTAFB, Nov 1972, "Rub-A-Dub Dub"
- F-4C, 63-7474, 67 TFS, Korat RTAFB, Nov 1972, "Brain Damage"
- F-4C, 64-0791, 67 TFS, Korat RTAFB, Nov 1972, "Squirrely Bird"
- F-4C, 64-0840, 67 TFS, Korat RTAFB, Nov 1972, "Super Cocks
Swiss Samlar"
This decal set provides the distinctive aircraft markings, a nice
set of maintenance stencils, national markings, as well as slime
lights. There are sufficient decals on this sheet for two complete
aircraft. This set is intended for the Hasegawa 1/48
F-4C.
The decal printing is perfectly in register. The instructions
are printed double-sided in color, providing excellent color scheme
as well as decal placement information.
This set is definitely recommended!
