TwoBobs has turned out the nicest F-16C color scheme I've seen
on a USAF Viper. For whatever reason, the US Air Force has been
fairly 'conservative' in their special markings and one must look
to the overseas operators, especially Belgium, for some beautiful
commemorative color schemes.
AT LAST, the Tiger Meet of the Americas (TMOTA) has started to
inspire some art on Viper tails. One of the earlier TMOTA events
generated one colorful scheme out of Shaw AFB, but nothing matched
the artwork of the Belgians - until now.
This is an F-16C Block 30 out of the Colorado Air National Guard
(CO ANG) wearing a magnificent set of colors. This decal set is
presented on two decal sheets. Since the aircraft is a Block 30,
you can use most of the current F-16C kits from Hasegawa, Academy,
or whatever and just add a widemouth inlet and GE nozzle if one
is not provided in your choice of kits. These conversions are available
from Cutting Edge (Meteor Productions). You can backdate the new
Tamiya F-16C Block 50 to a Block 30 with a few minor changes.
This set is highly recommended!
