TwoBobs has has returned with the four Alaskan Hawgs, one
from over 20 years ago and three more contemporary examples.
The aircraft covered in this set are:
- A-10A, 81-993, 343 TFW, 'Spirit of Fairbanks', Aug 1986
- A-10A, 81-979, 354 Ops Group, 'Iron Ass', Oct 2005
- A-10A, 80-220, 355 FS, 'Terror of the Taliban', May 2004
- A-10A, 80-238, 355 FS,
'Ice Hawg', May 2004
The 'Spirit of Fairbanks' is a nice scheme that displays its
artwork on the TF34 engine pods, whereas the other three examples
are more subdued gray birds, two of which display combat markings.
220 has nice artwork on the inside of the boarding ladder door
with the face of Osama as well as 'Terror of the Taliban' over
the US flag. Any of these aircraft would look good on your
contest table and this decal set provides maintenance stenciling
and national markings for two complete aircraft.
This set is highly recommended!
