If you've been looking for some of the latest aggressor schemes
for your favorite Viper, here are a pair of aircraft out of
the 8th Fighter Wing based at Kunsan AB, South Korea. These
aircraft of the famous 'Wolfpack' wear the blue-blue-gray wraparound
scheme. The aircraft in this set are:
- F-16C Block 30D-CF, 86-0293, WP, 8 FW, Kunsan AB, Oct 2007
- F-16D Block 30H-CF, 87-0378, WP, 8 FW, Kunsan AB, Oct 2007
The decals provide stencils and markings for two complete
aircraft. In addition, the lower right section of the sheet
also provides markings for a pair of ACMI pods as well as a
pair of AIM-9 training rounds.
The full-color instructions provide good four-view diagrams
to illustrate the paint scheme very clearly.
This set is just in time for the new Tamiya 1/48 Block 30
F-16C Viper as well as any one of the iterations of the Hasegawa
1/48 Block 30 kits on the market. The Hasegawa 1/48 F-16D kit
is the only option for the two seater at present.
This set is highly recommended!
