Twobobs 1/48 F/A-18D Black Beauties

Here is an interesting set of decals to provide some color to your gray camouflaged Hornets. This set provides two black-tailed F/A-18D Hornets, one US Marine Corps example, the other from the Naval Weapons Test Squadron out of Point Mugu NAS, VX-30.

Both of these aircraft represent commanders' aircraft (hence the black tails and special color artwork). In this release however, the red and white layers of decals appear to be printed separately so you'll have the pleasure of putting the red bars in the US national markings.

This decal set has all of the markings needed to produce both aircraft with the exception of only one set of walkways are included in this set. Since most kits provide walkway decals, this won't prevent you from redering both aircraft should you choose.
