Here is a decal set you need to get for several reasons. First,
this set has a pair of colorful aircraft - a New Orleans-based
Louisianan ANG F-15A Eagle and a Dallas-area-based Naval Reserve
VFA-204 F/A-18A Hornet. The Cajun Eagle is the 159th Fighter Wing
Commander's aircraft and the subject speaks for itself whilst the
Hornet is the Squadron Commander's mount and carries some very
colorful markings. You'll like the mural on the dorsal speed brake!
Second, both Twobobs LLC and Microscale Industries have donated
the time and materials to produce this decal sheet so that all
of the proceeds from your purchases of this release will go to
the American Red Cross. You're giving to a worthwhile cause and
getting cool decals for your trouble!
The two aircraft in question are F-15A 77-0121 and F/A-18A 163135
(AF/401). Markings are provided for both aircraft as well as
a set of maintenance stencils for two aircraft.
The instructions are
printed double-sided in color, providing excellent color scheme
as well as decal placement information.
With the flurry of decal releases for the latest kits that have
been appearing on the market, it is nice to see markings for some
of the good kits still on our shelves like the Hasegawa 1/72 F-15A
and Hasegawa 1/72 F/A-18A kits. Definitely recommended and kudos
to Twobobs and Microscale for doing their part for the hurricane
victims!
