TwoBobs has captured more very colorful aircraft. In this case,
a CAG aircraft from VFA-11 and a VFA-106 example out of the east
coast training wing.
The aircraft in question are:
- F/A-18F, BuNo 166632, VFA-11, AA/100, Aug 2005
- F/A-18F, BuNo 166467, VFA-106, AD/101, Aug 2005
Both aircraft are carrying nice artwork and the VFA-11 Red Rippers
are definitely carrying their colors forward from the
F-14.
At any rate, this decal set captures the colorful markings of
these aircraft. The instructions are
printed double-sided in color, providing excellent color scheme
as well as decal placement information. The markings for the VFA-106
Gladiators aircraft also includes a pair of decals to provide the
color for the intake covers (you must provide your own covers).
In addition to the colorful markings, this set provides the more
visible maintenance and warning stencils as well as national markings.
Definitely recommended.
