Here is one of the latest releases from Twobobs Aviation Graphics.
This set covers two recent production 'hot rod' Strike Eagles
with the latest in avionics and Pratt & Whitney power. These two
birds are the Group Commander's mount and a line aircraft from
the 494th, both from RAF Lakenheath:
- F-15E, 02-001, 48th OG, 48 FW, Aug 2006
- F-15E, 03-003, 494 FS, 48 FW, Aug 2006
National markings and basic stencils are provided for both aircraft.
One of the improvements that these new Mud Hens feature is the
capability to use the Sniper targeting pod instead of the older
LANTIRN. While this pod provides outstanding new strike capabilities
for the USAF, we modelers are still without the Sniper or Litening
targeting pods in 1/72, 1/48 and 1/32 scales! Someone please help!!
The printing of these decals is their usual excellent quality,
with all of the complex markings in perfect register. If you're
looking for some hot markings for your favorite 1/72 F-15E kit,
look no further!
Definitely recommended!
My sincere thanks to TwoBobs
Aviation Graphics for this review
sample!
