TwoBobs has has returned with the an interesting subject that
you don't see often on decals - the JAS-39 Gripen. If you
happen to have the Airfix, Italeri, or Revell/Germany Gripen
kit on the shelf, you now have four nice commemorative schemes
from the Swedish Air Force to choose from.
The aircraft covered in this set are:
- JAS-39A, 39176, 80th Anniversary of the Swedish Air Force
- JAS-39A, 39132, 60th Anniversary of wing F17
- JAS-39C, 39210, First JAS-39C/D to exceed 500 flight hours
- JAS-39A, 39131, 1600 flight hours, paw markings
The scanned images don't do this decal sheet justice. The
gold '60' on the tail of 132 is GOLD and is a real eye-catcher.
The 80th anniversary logo on 176 is a three-part decal to recreate
the artwork. Twobobs provides the markings and stencils to
do all four aircraft. Nice!
