Here is an interesting decal sheet for your AMT 1/48 F7F-3
from Three Guys Replicas (TGR). This set covers two post-WW2 examples:

The instructions include some nice backround and color information,
including top, bottom, and side profiles. The decal
printing is perfectly in register.
