Here is another interesting decal sheet from Three Guys Replicas (TGR). This set covers six
different P-39Qs with an interesting variety of colors and markings. These include:
- P-39Q, unknown, 10 Gruppo, Italian AF, Galatina AB, Lecce, 1944
- P-39Q, 42-19510, 72 FS/7 FC, Makin Island, 1944, 'Sad Sack'
- P-39Q, 42-19547, 46 FS/7 FC, Makin Island, 1943, 'Texas Ed'
- P-39Q, 42-19547, 46 FS/7 FC, Makin Island, 1943, 'Texas Ed II'
- P-39Q, 42-19995, 72 TRS, New Guinea, 1943, 'Snooks 2nd'
- P-39Q, 42-19463, unknown, 'Annie, Tojo's Lorelei'
The instructions include some nice backround and color information,
including top and left profiles of both aircraft. The decal
sheet includes markings for six complete aircraft. The decal
printing is perfectly in register.
Definitely recommended!
My sincere thanks to Three Guys Replicas for this review sample!
