The folks at Yellowhammer Models continue to turn out great aftermarket
decals with some of the best instructions/color profiles on the market.
This set covers two examples of the N1K2-J Shiden (George) designed
to counter the newer USN threats, including the Grumman F6F Hellcat. The
aircraft covered here are:
- N1K2-J, 343 Air Group, 401 Sqn, April 1945
- N1K2-J, 343 Air Group, 407 Sqn, April 1945
This set is beautifully printed and the white areas look to be opaque,
so you shouldn't have any color bleed-through here. The set comes complete
with maintenance stenciling as well as the distinctive unit and national markings.
