The folks at Yellowhammer Models continue to turn out great aftermarket
decals with some of the best instructions/color profiles on the
market. This set continues the series denoting the decommissioning
of the F-14 Tomcat from USN service.
In this installment, we have two colorful F-14Ds from the VF-31
Tomcatters counting down the final days of the F-14 in USN service.
Markings are provided for two aircraft:
- F-14D, BuNo 164602, VF-31, AJ/101, NAS Oceana, 8 Sep 2006
- F-14D, BuNo 164350, VF-31, -/103, NAS Oceana, 20 Sep 2006
The decals are very nicely printed and perfectly in register.
Note how the complex colorful markings are each only one decal?
Kudos to Yellowhammer Models for not making these multi-layer markings!
