Yellow Wing Decals 1/32
F3F-3 Bi-Plane

Yellow Wing Decals has released its third decal set in 1/32 scale. This set takes care of one of my favorite kits from my early days of modeling - the Monogram 1/32 F3F-3.

This set provides markings for aircraft from VF-5 off the USS Yorktown and VF-6 off of USS Enterprise. The aircraft covered in this set are:

• F3F-3, 1451, VF-5, 5-F-7, USS Yorktown, May 1939
• F3F-3, 1454, VF-5, 5-F-10, USS Yorktown, May 1939
• F3F-3, 1451, VF-6, 6-F-15, USS Enterprise, Aug 1940

The instructions that are included in this set provide not only the colors and decal placement for the three examples, the flipside of each profile contains a table of aircraft numbers and associated bureau numbers so that you can replicate any of the aircraft in either squadron.
