Yellow Wing Decals has pushed out of their niche of 1/48 scale
pre-war US Navy/USMC subjects. They've expanded into 1/32 and 1/72
scales and with this release, provide markings for two USN torpedo
squadrons.
This set provides provides all of the distinctive markings to
replicate any of the 18 aircraft assigned to Torpedo 2 (VT-2) or
Torpedo 3 (VT-3), 36 aircraft possibilities in all!
Actually, the
set is designed for each of the six section leads in both squadrons.
You can see in the decal image that the decal block for 2-T-4 (for
example) has the white wing chevrons (you paint the cowl and fuselage
bands yourself), the TBD-1 aircraft identifiers, and BuNo 0299.
The US Navy identifications are located near the bottom along with
spare numbers to allow for any of the non-section leads to be replicated
as well.

These decals are printed in excellent registration and clarity.
Yellow Wing Decals can be purchased directly from their website
at www.yellow-wingsdecals.com.
Highly recommended!
My sincere thanks to Yellow Wing Decals
for this review sample!
