Zotz Decals 1/32
P-47N Thunderbolts

Zotz is back with nice set of decals for the upcoming P-47N Thunderbolt. These are 1/32 scale for the Trumpeter kit to be released in the near future. In this release, Zotz has pulled three colorful examples out of the Pacific Theater of Operations (PTO).

The decal set comes on two sheets of standard decals, plus rwo smaller sheets with the nose art of for all three subjects. As usual, the set also comes with a nice color-printed color profile to help with painting and decal placement.

This decal set provides markings for three examples:

• P-47N-1-RE, 44-88043, 333 FS/318 FG, le Shima, 1945, 'Short Snorter'/2 Big and Too Heavy', as flown by Lt. Joe Heffernan
• P-47N-2-RE, serial unknown, 463 FS/507 FG, le Shima, 1945, 'Chatauqua', as flown by Lt. Schmidt
• P-47N-1-RE, serial unknown, 333 FS/318 FG, le Shima, 1945, 'Icky and Me', as flown by Lt. Jack Payne

There are maintenance stencils and national markings enough to build one aircraft.
