Zotz is back with another nice set of decals for the P-47D
Razorback Thunderbolt. These are 1/32 scale for the Trumpeter
Razorback kit released late last year or the anticipated Hasegawa
version. In this release, Zotz has pulled two colorful examples
out of the European Theater of Operations (ETO).
The decal set comes on two sheets of standard decals, plus
a smaller sheet with the nose art. As
usual, the set also comes with a nice color-printed color profile
to help with painting and decal placement.
This decal set provides markings for two examples:
- P-47M-1-RE, 44-21199, 62 FS/56 FG, Boxted, UK, 1945, 'Josephine,
My Flying Machine', as flown by Lt. Leo Butiste
- P-47D-1, unknown, 319 FS/325 FG, Celone, Italy,
1944, 'Dallas Blonde', as flown by Lt. Don Kearns
Here are two really colorful schemes and it will be hard not
to build both!
This set is definitely recommended!
My sincere thanks to Zotz for
this review sample!
