Zotz Decals 1/32
F-8C Crusader VF-84 and VF-111

Zotz Decals are back with a special release for the Trumpeter 1/32 F-8E Crusader kit, but with a twist. This extensive set of decals are really for the F-8C Crusader. If you're naturally wondering why, check out the magnificent conversion that Fisher Models produced to backdate the Trumpeter kit to the F-8C (F8U-2) as well as address a few detail and seamline issues. This decal release compliments the Fisher conversion so you have two very distinctive Charlies to render.

This set consists of three sheets of decals. You can see the beautifully replicated artwork, including the gradual shading in the flames, as well an an extensive set of maintenance stenciling to render one of two subjects. The two aircraft covered in this set are:

• F-8C, 145559, VF-84, AG/200 (CAG), USS Independence (flames)
• F-8C, 146961, VF-111, AK/103, USS Intrepid (sharkmouth)

This set is a very colorful (and welcome!) option for the Trumpeter/Fisher kit and these extensive stencils will definitely add visual fidelity to the completed model, which you would expect from a model in this scale.
