Cobra Company has released a completely new interior detail
set for the Trumpeter 1/48 Dauphin helicopter. Trumpeter has
released several versions of this popular machine, including
one in the markings of the HH-65 Dolphin operated by the US
Coast Guard. While Trumpeter did provide a few differences
in the USCG variant, the interior was still a generic layout.
Cobra Company to the rescue!
This set completely replaces the kit interior with one laid
out for a standard issue USCG HH-65 and comprises 30 different
resin parts that are nicely cast. The set has a new interior
floor with integral center cockpit console and instrument panel
pedestal. The set also includes an overhead console and ceiling
plate, three crew seats, instrument panel, cyclics, hoist control
panel, rear cabin bulkhead and rear compartment, medical bags
and more.
