Here is a very easy correction to backdate your Roden 1/32 Fokker
Dr.1 kit. This set replaces the kit ailerons with beautifully
cast resin ailerons that were larger as used on the earlier Fokker
F.1. The backdate entails
a simple parts swap. That's it!
The casting on these parts has been improved to minimize the 'edge'
between the usable parts and their casting blocks. This new approach
will significantly reduce the time and effort required to remove
these parts from their blocks and get them 'cleaned up' for installation.
This set is definitely a 'no-brainer' for the World War I modeler
and you may just have to buy a few extra Roden kits just to exploit
the possibilities in details and markings from Cutting Edge! Definitely
recommended!
