Contact-Résine has returned with another interesting set:
weighted wheels for the Trumpeter 1/32 A-7E Corsair II
kit. This wheels have really nice bolt pattern details on the main
wheels and nosewheels. A little weathering and a dirty dark brown
wash on the tires and wheels will make the molded-in details pop
out.
These resin wheels are weighed (flat on the bottom) to represent
the aircraft sitting on the deck. The high-pressure tires don't
bulge like those used on other aircraft types, so these accurately
portray the aircraft at rest. These wheels were targeted for the
the Trumpeter 1/32 A-7E kit.
If you're looking to add an eye-catching upgrade to the beautiful
Trumpeter kits, this is a simple must-have for that Navy SLUF (Short
Little Ugly 'Fella'). If you don't like using the rubber tires
in the kit, then this is also a useful replacement set.
You can purchase this
set online from Design & Marketing
International.
My sincere thanks to Design & Marketing
International for this review sample!
