Contact-Résine has returned with another interesting detail
set: a superdetailed cockpit facelift for the Trumpeter 1/32 Me
262A-1 fighter or Me 262A-2 fighter-bomber. The detail set is made
up of an effective combination of resin and photo-etched parts
and a set of decals for instrument faces.
The detail set starts off with the kit's styrene cockpit tub.
Into the tub go the left and right control consoles made up of
resin and photo-etch. This includes the distinctive switch panel
on the right side of the cockpit. The left console receives photo-etched
throttles. The tub also receives a replacement control stick, new
photo-etched rudder pedals on a resin base, and even photo-etched
foot straps for the rudder pedals.
The set also includes a resin instrument panel. The instructions
clearly indicate which decal face goes into which instrument bezel.
If you're building the fighter-bomber, the unique center pedestal
switch panel is also provided in resin.
The set is rounded out with a resin pilot's seat with photo-etched
seat belts and shoulder harnesses.
This is not a simple detail set given the mixed media, but assembly
appears straightforward and should pose the experienced modeler
with no problems.

set online from Design & Marketing
