Israel has developed the Python series of air-to-air missiles for use
on their combat aircraft and exported to selected customers. These new
missiles incorporate the best features of the US AIM-9 Sidewinder and
the French Magic missile technologies as well as adding a few new features
based on their extensive combat experience.
Eagle has produced the Python 3, in 1/72 and 1/48 scales. The castings
are clean and the fins are almost photo-etch in thickness. If you're wanting
to build an authentic Israeli Air Forse F-15, F-16 or Kfir, you'll definitely
want to consider mounting a few of these on the missile rails.
